Safeguarding
Safeguarding Statement
At ISU, the safety and well-being of our students are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and secure environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an international school, we recognise the diverse cultural backgrounds of our students, staff, and community. We are dedicated to fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that every member of our community feels valued and protected.
Our safeguarding policies are in line with both German regulations and international best practices. We ensure that all staff members undergo thorough background checks and receive regular training on safeguarding and child protection. Our policies cover all aspects of student welfare, including physical safety, emotional well-being, and online security.
We encourage open communication and provide clear channels for students, parents, and staff to report any concerns. All concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
At ISU, we believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to working together with parents, students, and the wider community to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care.
